I’m Leila Khodabakhsh, a human geographer passionate about exploring the connections between space, people, and nature. I’m currently a PhD candidate at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany, working on my dissertation titled “Liquid Realms: Navigating Water, Scale, and Power in Iran.”
In my research, I view water not just as a natural resource, but as a social and political force that shapes human spaces.
With a background in architecture and regional development planning, I have spent years working across research, urban design, and publishing specialized articles.
For me, “space” is a living narrative of everyday life, history, and the hidden structures of power.
